Traditional

Serve margarita in a traditional margarita glass, rimmed with salt, and garnished with a lime wedge. Salt on the rim of the glass is part of the tradition, and the salt balances out the tartness and warmth of the cocktail. To properly salt a traditional margarita glass, first fill a saucer with a quarter of an inch of kosher salt. Then, moisten the rim of the glass with a lime, by drawing the lime along the rim. And then, tip the glass on its side, parallel to the saucer, and gently roll the glass in the salt until the outer edge is covered.

Vintage

Serve margarita in a vintage inspired goblet with limes on a stirring stick. Sometimes you just need a substantial goblet to hold on to in this world; its heavy, grounded, and has staying power. Select a medium to large sized water goblet with a hefty stem, and fill about halfway with ice. Pour your cocktail to fill an inch or two above the ice. Stab lime wedges with a stirring stick and insert into the ice, and enjoy. You know exactly what you want and you know how to get it.

Modern

Serve margarita in a shatterproof stemless glass with a squeeze of lime. Yes, you're a trendsetter, and not afraid to show it. A shatterproof stemless glass says that you're ready for anything and not afraid. At the same time, you worry about things randomly falling over, as they sometimes do of course. But you are prepared for this. Which makes you less of a worrywart, and more of an adventurer. So fill that bottom heavy glass and squeeze a lime into it and be ready for what's next.
